I like it, good art, though I don't see much of Belwar in it, he just doesn't have that grumpy, old gnome look to him but more of a younger look to him. I do love the detail you but in the mythril weapons and the detail in the runes, very, very good. i can sit here and judge art pretty well, or by my standards and my friend's standards, I just wish I could draw as well as that. The whole beard thing, who knows? I imagined him with a beard but the whole Dwarven curse, as mentioned before, does give ya' some doubt. Well, I wanted to keep this short but I am never able to keep my comments short so, see ya later! Once again, fabulous art I just don't see much of belwar Dissengulp in it.

It is really good and I know he is a gnome but his elbows are not defined and it looks as if someone cut his arms off at the elbow and stuck the hammer and pick on the ends, but other than that it is really good.

:-) Nathanael Moon Bonham replies: "Hmm... I guess the elbows really aren't defined, but if they were where the fake hands start, his hands would drag on the ground. His elbows are about at the bottom of his pecs, where the veins in his arms are all bulgey-like"

hehe. Belwar bares a remarkable similarity to Mr. Clean. In a good way!! i had always imagined him rather tubby, and more... cute, but now that i think about things this is a very fitting representation. thanks for sharing any ways

Nice pic, all the muscles are very defined, shame he isn't killing something.

Ah, lovely picture!! I didn't think I'd like Belwar when he was first introduced, but he's really grown on me.

The only critique I might have has already been pointed out by a previous poster. His elbows are too high; they're practically coming out of his shoulders. I know it's hard to do because he is rather short, and having his hands dragging on the ground is not a good look. But his elbows should be about waist level.

Heh, there needs to be more Belwar pics. There's never enough!

I'll say this... Belwar is one of my favorite characters in the series.. 2nd only to Bruenor. This is an excellent excellent portrait of him .. looks a little younger than i saw him .. but man.. great job .. love the details .. Damn i with he were real.. haha
